For more than 10 years my husband Colin and I were neighbours of Ken and Velda and they were the best neighbours you could wish for, there for you if you needed them, willing to give any help if needed and considerate. Most days Ken and I would have a chat over the garden wall, usually while Ken was playing with their 2 cats Tom and Jerry who were the best loved and pampered cats ever. We always knew when summer was on its way because Ken would be in the garden getting his ice-cream van ready for the summer season at Godrevy. He will be sadly missed by many local people and holiday makers, as he was always ready for a chat whilst dishing out the Kelly's icecream. A true Cornishman and Gentleman. We will miss him ,but always think of him when we visit Godrevy. Heather and Colin Williams
