Layon has been our General Secretary for many years. We are devastated by the loss of our dear friend and mentor. We will miss Layton's organisational skills, wealth of knowledge, sound advice, wicked sense of humour and fun, true friendship, innovative ideas, contacts all over the music world, his uncomplaining stoicism over recent months in coping with illness, etc.
Layton was a one-off and is irreplaceable. We all send our deepest heartfelt condolences to Gwen, Jason, Rana, and all his family.
In his own words - "Daro di"!
