Barry, i hope you were looking down on us yesterday at your funeral, i'm sure you would have been touched by all the people who attended, the crem chapel was full. you once said you didn't think anyone would go to your funeral, how wrong you were. It was so nice to see you were very well thought of and i'm sure you would of loved the pmt bus that your friends came on.

You were a very kind & friendly man, rest in peace love from wendy xxx

Thank you everyone for the lovely messages it would of meant a lot to Barry.

To the dad I once knew, my dad,

Words can’t describe how I feel about your passing and learning that you had suffered. For that I will always be sorry I wasn’t with you.

Too often people regret what could have been. Having made our choices though we have to accept what was. Rather than regret what we didn’t do instead I convey my thanks for what we did and that I always had respect for you. For the good times we had, for the things you taught me, the faith you had in me to succeed and for your part in making me what I am I will always be grateful just as I will always regret us becoming strangers in later years.

As I have thought of you often, so I shall continue. You were already missed. I’m sorry I didn’t say it to you in person and trust you will understand.

Take care and rest in peace, Steve xxx
