Charles ThomasJACKSONJACKSON At peace on Tuesday December 15th in the loving care of his family and the staff of the Douglas Macmillan Hospice, Blurton, Charles Thomas (Charlie), aged 73 years, the most precious and dearly loved husband of Sheila of Bradnop, nr Leek, devoted dad of Debbie, dad-in-law of Neil, treasured gramps of Carly, Bethany and Samuel, a much loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle and a dear friend to all who knew him. No flowers please by request, donations if desired to the Douglas Macmillan Hospice. Funeral arrangements later. To my great mate charlie,i'm going to miss you,i first met charlie when we were doing national service in 1955 serving with 1 st battalion the north staffordshire regiment,we served for 2 years in hong kong and we lost touch when we got demobbed and then we just happened to meet at a reunion at whittington barracks in lichfield some 15 years ago and we have been the best of friends ever since and with his lovely wife sheila.rest in peace my mate,love ron and anne shipton.burton on trent.xx
