JoanJOHNSONPeacefully on 19th December 2018 at Ladysmith Care Home, Grimsby, Joan aged 94 years sadly passed away. Beloved wife of the late Maurice, loving mum to Paul and the late Ursula, dear mother-in-law of Helen and Pete, precious nan to Shelly, Gareth, Beccy and Nick, a great-nanna, sister, aunt and good friend to many who will be missed by all who knew her. Service at Grimsby Crematorium on Friday 11th January 2019 at 1.40pm. Joan is resting at Mashfords Funeral Home, Norfolk Lane, Cleethorpes DN35 8BB where family flowers only please will be received. Donations in lieu, if so desired may be sent to St. Andrew's Hospice Peaks Lane, Grimsby, DN32 9RP. All Enquiries. Tel. 01472 200004.

It was an honour to be with Nanna when she declared her faith to the Lord, and an honour to be a part of her life for nearly 50 years, and what a life she had.
She was everything you could possibly want in a Nanna / Nannan, and we loved her dearly. We will miss her. She really was a great woman and we celebrate her life.

To a dear precious mother-in-law and a true lady mother of my late wife Ursula, I am so pleased I travel back from Australia to the UK in April and November 2018 to see you. Although you were ill and weak we did a lot of talking together. We in Australia will miss you as we miss Ursula. In your own words goodbye and God bless.
