Gone

Mum I have a confession to make. I honestly thought you would live to a ripe old age - you was never ever sick sweetie! Everything happened so quick. I know it was not quick enough for you with your suffering and all but I think that is why it hurts so bad - your absence is such a huge void. It is still so raw.

I miss you with every passing day.

Heard from cousin Carol today - she is going to be a grandmother. Auntie Maggie will never get to see her great grandchild - something you never got to see Mum. No grandchildren in my future either!
