I live in North Wales close to where Holiday on the Buses was filmed. Every time we drive over the bridge where Arthur & Olive lost their cases, I still think of the film and chuckle!
Our friends' dad is also the general manager of Pontins in Prestatyn where it was filmed.
A great film that brings back happy memories.........
Sorry you're gone now Reg. (I only heard last night in a tribute show to you).
Good luck with the 'clippies' up there - Bob Grant has a headstart on you but I'm sure that there will be one for you too!!
Gone but not forgotten.

As a PSV Driver in the late Sixties, and through the Seventies, I was often asked, " Is it really like that working on the Buses, Clippies with short skirt's, a bit of how's your father at some of those remote Terminuses we had up here in the Countryside? Well! sadly for myself that was not the case, but I do know of some luckier guys.
That aside, thanks Reg, for the hours of comedy pleasure you have given Myself and many others both on and of the Buses.
Rest in piece Mate, and Thanks once again.

Yet another of my all time favourite actors has been taken to that huge star studded stage in heaven. You will be loved by all there and sadly missed by all of us here. You were a unique actor and could easily make people laugh just with expressions alone and without being vulgar or obscene, an art that a lot of comedians lack in this present day.
Hopefully you'll bump into Jack and Arthur and this time it really will be at the 'Cemetery Gates'
God bless Reg, you will be sadly missed, make em smile up there and try to get that bus out on time!!
Good night
