I have very fond memories watching 'On the buses' in my childhood. It was a great comedy that all the family would sit and watch together. We had lots of laughs watching it.

God Bless Reg,

Reg varney's 'screen presence' is etched in my psyche. I think most people identified in some way with the interaction in the Butler household and the work environment even if it wasn't through their own families. The world seemed a better place then and reg certainly enriched our lives and i'm sure the lives of countless other british televisual imbibers! thanks reg.god bless.mike innes and duncan lamont

I grew up on great british comedy like on the buses, with reg and the crew, carry on films etc, and sadly that type of comedy is no longer on tv these days (thank god for satelite reruns, and dvd boxsets).

i loved watching it then, and still love it now.

Reg, thanks for them memories, RIP, and hope you finally get the birds on the old bus up there, mate.

Condolences to all family and friends all over.
