Reg Varney gave us all so much laughter over the years. At Christmas and all the best times. Thank you for the laughter, sorely missed. A true underrated comedy great.

He's gone to join the laughter above. Our condolences to his family and friends.

God Bless

Sorry to hear the sad news about Reg, I loved watching his films & having a good old laugh at On the Buses.

He will be well missed. God Bless You Reg - Mind and park your bus carefully now, we don't want any falling angels.

One of Britain's best comedy actors has left us to make Heaven laugh as much as we have laughed here on earth.
We will miss you Reg as you were one of our HEROES during WWII and made a lot of people very happy in your lifetime and that's a hard job.
Lots of strengh to your family and friends in this terrible time.
And don't forget the clippies before you leave and don't be late.
R.I.P. Reg Varney (Stan Butler )
you will never be forgotten

R.I.P. Reg you were one of Britain's truly funny and talented men. If we go to heaven in a bus, I hope you are driving the one I'm on.

I loved On The Buses when I was a child. My children even now fall about laughing while watching it on dvd and video.
Reg/Stan you will be sorely missed by all of us your fans. You have made a final stop now at the cemetery gates with your bus and meeting up with Jack. May you rest in peace

Living close to Reg Varney in Enfield (the Cemetery Gates used in 'On the Buses' were about half a mile up the road from my home) I remember him around the North Enfield area. I was at a tree-planting ceremony he carried out in Hilly Fields the park opposite my home.

Reg also was the first person in the UK to use an ATM when he inaugurated the machine at Barclays Bank in Church Street Enfield.

Being born in 1964 I grew up watching On the Buses and Reg Varney is an institution. What a very sad loss to us all. My heartfelt condolences go out to his friends and family but I would like to say thank you to a man who shared his wonderful talent with the world and made us laugh so much.
