Thanks Reg for all the fun and laughter in On the Buses. You and the rest of the cast were part of a time and periode in our lives that has gone forever. But we here in Holland watch On the Buses every night and laugh. You have joined the others from the cast who left this life before you. I hope you have fun and laughter up there like in the old days. Maybe we meet one day up there and I can say thanks for Stan Reg. Have fun!!

I met Reg when he was 82 years old when I carried out some work at his home in Devon, he was a smashing bloke and we chatted for a couple of hours, a real gent and I have only just found out that he has died. R.I.P mate.

I was only 9 or 10 when i started watching on the buses, every sunday evening if i remember rightly, every episode was hilarious and of course my favourite character was STAN. i liked the friendship between STAN and BOB and have had very fond memories of the progam. those guys brought fun and laughts into millions of homes, even with a B+W TV, they just dont make them like that anymore but then there was only ever one REG VARNEY. R I P REG gone but never ever forgotten.

My family were very sad to hear the news of Regs death. We have had much enjoyment from all the series. No matter how sad you are, put on the buses on and youre guaranteed a laugh. Rest in peace Reg, gone but not forgotten.
