Tought you would live forever my friend, thought you were made of steel.
todays a day i'll never forget, now it all seems oh so real.
with sadness with pride i stood in the church, now your finally laid to rest
so many people will miss you mate,to us all you were truly the best.

when i first met you,you helped me so much
the favours never seemed to end
you never asked for anything in return,i knew i had met a true friend.

now with my hand on heart and a tear in my eye
i finally bid you goodbye,no longer here on this mortal world
but your spirit will never die.

so its farewell dave, until we meet again
i hope our paths will cross one day

Dave Ayres,

a 'PROPER NICE BLOKE',

you will be missed mate, by us and thousands of others, can't believe you are gone, will be telling the stories for years to come, there was never a dull moment every time we met up, you would have me laughing all the way back home.

a sad day in the tattoo industry as i feel we have been robbed of one of the true people who made it what it is today. your world class talent will live on forever in your ink.

our condolences to your family, ozzy and the skin deep posse.

R.I.P

Once met, never forgotten, not many people could leave a mark on the world like Dave did; a character that was like no other. Our thoughts are with Dave's wife, children and Ozzie, can't imagine what you are going through. The world has lost a very talented man, Rest In Peace Dave and if not, give 'em hell!

Just like Dave's tattoo's his memory will never fade.

Good times had with him and Anna, OZ and the Skindeep crew, wherever we were. Whether the pub, the conventions or the shop.

I will always remember the times in Amsterdam with him, Anna, and those will be cherished forever.

A brilliant tattooist and a sad loss to all who knew him.

Sympathy to Dave's family - Anna, their children Charlie, Daisy, Rosie and Ollie, and not forgetting Oz and all at Skin Deep.

Once met, never forgotten.

R I P Dave.

When Steve let me know what happened i could not believe it.I was going to write some funny and witty stories about ol' Uncle Mad but i think all of them would violate the policies of this website, lol. Sincerest sympathies to Dave's missus and children and Ozzy come on back over to Florida and lets toast up Daveus proper. I'm tipping my forty for ya homie.
