Today was spent at The Frontotemporal Dementia Conference, where you were remembered and videos of your piano playing, despite your advanced disease, along with other video diary clips will be looked at in the hope of understanding this disease, i know you would be pleased to think your music will help others even after your death as it did in life. Ray was a wonderful teacher who opened my eyes, mind and ears all over again to the beauty of piano playing. He was my mentor on a teachers' development course and I was fortunate enough to be at concerts he gave in London and Cambridge - such a lovely, demanding, encouraging educator, communicator and servant of music. So sorry to hear of his sad battle and your loss.
