It broke our hearts when we lost you, but you did not go alone. A part of us went with you, the day god took you home. If tears could build a stairway and heartaches make a lane, we'd walk our way to heaven and bring you back again. In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still, in our hearts you hold a place that no one could ever fill. Miss you grandad x

'My Way' by Sinatra, re-interpreted for a very special husband and dad

And now, the end is here
And so we face that final curtain
Our Pops, we'll say it clear
We'll state our case, of which we're certain
A dad so full of love
Who traveled each and all our highways
And more, much more than this, you did it your way...

Regrets, we have a few
Because of you, too few to mention
You did what you had to do and helped us through without exemption
You stood our charted course, each careful step along our byway
And more, much more than this, you did it your way...
Yes, there were times, we're sure you knew
When we bit off more than we could chew
But through it all, there was never doubt
You held our hands and we stood proud
We faced it all and we stood tall and did it our way....
We've loved, We've laughed and cried
Our lifes been full of song and laughter
And now, our tears subside, we'll recall forever-after
Our Dad, you did all this
And may we say, in such a kind way,
"Oh, yes, oh, yes, for us, we'll cherish your way"
For what is a life, what have we got?
When without you, without our Pops,
But to speak the words we truly feel, with memories our hearts will heal,
Let the record show, as we let you go, you did it your way!

Yes, it was your way...xxxxxxx

One year has passed, the curtain never closed, because you left our hearts open and with the warmth of true and mutual love

As another popular song states....We'll meet again, don't know where, don't know when, but we know we'll meet again some sunny day.....

Your loving wife Rowna and children, Carole, Ian, Carl and Julie xxxxxxxxx
