Lisa, how I laughed through your book and cried when I read of the bulls**** return. I have voyeuristically relied on your insightful words of wisdom, delivered with characteristic eloquent hilarity. Hurtled down a parallel breast cancer road over the last fifteen months you have proved an inspiration, a cyber sage. Your comically satirical insights prepared me for chemo, radiotherapy, the dread BRCA gene and dilemmas it presents. Your bravery helped arm those of us in the cancer shadowlands with a sleeves rolled up ‘we can do it’ attitude. When feeling down you offered truthful irony minus tragedy or pity. Hope with hiccups.

How I cried when I read of your moving on. I will miss your self-effacing courage, no holds barred truths and cussing of this potentially obliterating bull. Thank you for sharing, raising awareness and making this experience easier for so many of us. You were one in a million who will remain an inspiration in-cyber-perpetuity.

Thoughts go out to your Husband, Mum, Dad, Brother, Sister-in-law, Nephew, other family and myriad friends, (not forgetting Sergeant Pepper).

Trust you'll be around in spirit for your TV/film premiere, doubtless donning some fabulous ethereal Louboutins…

Reminded of Leonard Cohen’s ‘If it be your will’

Rest in Peace you extraordinary (girl) woman and wonderful light.

Patricia.
