Once again another birthday when I can't hug you or give you a big kiss, I really do miss having a cuddle from my Dad.
This year we would have celebrated your 100th birthday, strange to think that my Dad would have been that age.
It's a shame you never met your great granddaughter as you would have loved her to bits and spoilt her, she would have been the apple of your eye. I can only reiterate the promise I made to you to look out for your granddaughters and to protect and help them as much as I can as their Aunt and this I continue to try to do and will do for Lily.
I love you so much and still miss you so much, I find myself wanting to ask you things and to talk and share things with you even after so many years since you passed.

Dad, It's the anniversary of the day we bid you farewell. It's 15 years since you passed away but not a day goes by when I don't think of you. I miss you as much today as back in 2005. I know you were not the easiest of people to get on with at times but I know you had a heart of gold and were a big softie, things I really only found out in your last years when we spent time together. I Love you Dad, I miss you and really wish you could have met your great granddaughter, Helen's daughter, you would have adored her.

Dad, today is yet another birthday which I will remember but you are not here for me to give you a card, a gift, maybe a cake and definitely a huge hug, a great big kiss.
Dad I still miss you with all my heart and still long to hear your voice, even to hear you shout at me or give me advice or just annoy me! I love you so much and everyone tells me that I was always daddy's little girl, even though I was taller than you. Well Dad I look just like you now, a typical Hawkins and Kate is a Hawkins too. You have a gorgeous little Great Granddaughter, Lily Grace aged 7 months who you would adore and I know you are watching over her.
