Hello Mum/Gran/Meg

Happy Birthday. You would have been 75 years old today. Not great weather for the traditional birthday barbecue this year but we did get some warm sunny spells to brighten the day.

A difficult day for all of us, thinking that we should have been celebrating your birthday with you, and so wishing you were here with us still.

We all love and miss you terribly, regardless of how many years have passed. Your death left a hole in all of our hearts and lives which can never be filled.

Hope you've enjoyed sunshine and flowers wherever you are now.

All our love always,

David, Julie, Alex, Maria, Paul, Hannah, Molly, John, Janet, Emma and your loving husband Geoff

Mum, today is Mother's Day and as always you are constantly in my thoughts, but more so on this very special day where we celebrate our wonderful mums. Missing you so much. It doesn't get easier with the passage of time.

Hope the flowers are blooming and the sun is shining wherever you are.

Love always,

Dear Mum how I wish you were here with us. Your birthday yesterday should have been a day full of celebration, and to not be able to celebrate your 74th birthday just left me full of sadness. It was a sunny day and would have been great for a cuppa and cake in the garden, with the birds singing, the odd butterfly fluttering by and the beautiful blossoms bursting open to soak in the warmth of the early spring sunshine - you'd have loved it.

I will never forget you, or the happy times we spent together, and will cherish the memories.

Love you loads.
