Today is a difficult day because it is four years ago today that you died and find it so hard to be without you. I am so grateful for all the happy times we shared, but above all for having met you! You were special and it is so hard to be without you, your constant love and support.

August and a cool, fine day! I recollect with pleasure all the lovely times we have had at this time of year: Lleyn peninsular holidays, our children riding ponies through lanes with an abundance of wild flowers in the hedgerows. We cadged a lobster from the fishermen at Hell's Mouth as they cleared their pots, storing the lobsters in a wooden box before they were transported to Holland. I cooked that lobster in our tent!! What fun and enjoyment we had!

Today would have been your 99th birthday! I recollect with profound gratitude and joy our shared years of happiness, our lovely family and our home and garden. It will never be the same without you, but there is much to be thankful for.
