To all those who like me are still experiencing the pain of loss, I wish to send you my best wishes that you can stay strong in these exceptional circumstances. My late husband would have supported me in this. We are being challenged in every way: emotionally, physically, practically,, socially and morally. We need to reaffirm our humanity and in doing so to do what is best for all: to hold close to our loved ones and, at the same time, to care about those less fortunate than we may be. At 89 years tomorrow, I first wish to affirm the privilege of being alive, of being loved. We are capable of aspiring to be the best and never in my lifetime has this been needed more than now. I wish you well!

Christmas 2019 is in prospect, the second one without you. You still enlighten my life and I am so grateful that during the seventy years we shared there were so many memorable, happy, ridiculously funny and sometimes very sad times to recall. We were fortunate, blessed even, which makes your loss all the harder to bear. Peg
