Tony and Marilyn Cottrell are most distressed to learn of the sudden untimely passing of Daniel. Daniel always treated us in a kind and very professional way giving around excellent supportive care which we will miss greatly. Although Daniel treated us in a very professional way we felt our appointments with him were like visiting a good friend. Danny was a truly lovely man and unfortunately there aren’t many of them in the world and for him to be taken so early in life leaves a very big hole for all those who knew him. He will be sadly missed by so many.

I am so so sorry to hear of Danny’s death today. I am completely shocked and saddened.
He was like a friend to me and so caring to the people I care for with learning disabilities, nothing was ever too much trouble, his kindness and patience shone through, it was an absolute pleasure to know him.
Rest in peace dearest Danny and love to your family, and thanks to Lorraine and Alison....it was a family not a business

I was so sorry to learn of Danny's passing and I'm sorry to have missed his funeral. My thoughts and best wishes are with Alison, Lorraine and his family. He was my optician for 16 years and I always looked forward to my annual visit. Such a lovely man who will be sorely missed.

I was so shocked to learn of Danny’s death through a letter from Eyeplan this morning. I feel so very sad for his family and Lorraine and Alison at his Practice, who I know were both fond and respectful of him. He was the kindest, most caring and thorough Optometrist I have ever known; it was a real pleasure to have an appointment with him. I am so sorry not to have known sooner as I would have attended his funeral service to pay my respects to his family to whom I extend my sincere condolences. Danny will be sadly missed by all who had the great pleasure of knowing him.. we have lost a truly lovely man. Jennifer Scott
