My dad was a simple man, old fashioned type. That is what l loved about him. He never said a bad word about anyone. He saw the good in everyone.
He was a very genuine man.
We all had wonderful times over the years in Ireland in Pallasgreen where he was from.
My dad would want us all to keep strong and to stay positive and to keep moving forward in life.
I will always stay strong for my dad, Johnny Byrne. For my mam, Julia. For my sister, Margo.
I will love them all forever.

I will keep on working dad.
I saw how a great worker you were over the years.
People are different now though.
I remember you telling me dad,
' leave them all laugh away at you, as long as you are getting your money'
I will keep on working like you always did.
