I worked at the Tower night club and when Joe came through from Blackpool he would have private parties in the private bar upstairs with his family and friends . He was always great fun and sent us girls behind the bar a huge tip at the end of the night . He was great fellow and we loved him so much. Rest in peace fly high to you mum dad and family xxx

Joe longthorne , never went to Blackpool without coming back to Belfast with latest, CD /dvd, from grand opera house were joe sang for many years, he carried his head high , no matter what life threw at him , bless him, and was a true people’s person and loved by all, Blackpool lost a true star and we have all lost a hero! Rest in peace

My husband & I always booked to see Joe when he was in our area of North Essex. My best friend's Mum used to go and see Joe regularly and told me how fantastic he was. In 2006 my friend's Mum passed away. We had tickets for Joe the next day to see him at the Westcliff in Southend. He was brilliant and just the tonic we needed. We shall miss waiting to hear when the concert dates were so we could get to see him. We loved every minute of hearing him sing together with his impressions and also making us laugh. You were a one off Joe, there will never been anyone like you ever again. You did so much for everyone else being so generous to charities. Sing with the angels Joe, you are now pain free and I am sure smiling down on your friends and family. God bless Joe Longthorne the Legend.
