You're still in my thoughts, Ken and now you have my Dad, Ron Edney, to join you there. He passed away Sunday 22 March so you can chat away together again.
I do hope we can have a gathering to celebrate your life. Much love to you Ken, Sue xx

My Uncle Ken is an inspiration to us all.
He loved life and will always have a special place in my heart.
I feel blessed to have spent his last day with him, holding his hand and reading to him.
He will be sadly missed by everyone but he will never be forgotten.
I would like to thank all his friends and neighbours for looking after him in the last 3 months of his life and also all the staff at Arthur Rank Hospice who were so kind and gentle with my Uncle Ken.
The stars will shine brighter now

An inspirational teacher of mine at Stapleford in the 60s, encouraging pupils to learn for them selves and to develop enquiring minds. He is one of the reasons I love learning and am not afraid to try something new even today - and I've ended up living in Mexico.

Mr Jackson saw in me my love of English and encouraged me throughout my time at Stapleford Primary. I went on to gain a degree in English and Theatre Studies and pass on my love of the written word to my children and grandchild. So many thanks to a dedicated and inspiring teacher.
