I was so very sad to hear news of Jacqui and her passing away under such awful circumstances. She did not deserve the timing and manner of her death. I first new Jacqui some 46 years ago in 1974 in Eltham where we both lodged with a group of friends. She was a lovely girl and i immediately got on very well with this very friendly and amiable person. It was a magical time all together and Jacqui helped me so much as a was struggling student teacher. I have never forgot those times and although i had lost touch over the last few years i have always had fond memories of her.
It is very evident from the tributes here that Jacqui meant so much to so many people and she will be sorely missed by her and Philip's family.

On behalf of my late mother, Mrs.Mollie Ardon, (Headmistress at CFS Girls' school) worked with Jacquelyn for over 30 years at 2 different schools in London.We had many happy times together, including myself with them.
Dearest Jacqui, it is with a very heavy ❤ that I found out,that you had died and that you had joined mummy in the Spirit World on March the 6th 2020. You and mummy were always the very best of friends....
You always lit up the long and winding road of life and made the journey of life, seem brighter, for all those who crossed your path...
We shall all miss you terribly, but shall always remember your infectious laughter and your indominatable spirit.You epitomise the very best of human nature....

Saddened to hear of Jacqui’s passing. I first met her in 1990 when I was a probationary teacher. She was always warm and supportive and as others have mentioned, she had a fantastic sense of humour.
