The lovely Jacqui left me a gift in her will. I thought for a long time about what I should do with it as I wanted something very special and a link to my dear friend. I finally decided to adopt a dog as Jacqui always loved my pointer/beagle cross, Molly, bringing her freshly cooked chicken every time we met and wrapping treats and new toys for her at Christmas. Then I found Bella, a 7 year old pointer who had been found abandoned in Cyprus, just skin and bones and terrified. She had lived in the UK for a number of years but was in need of a new home again. Bella is perfect - she's so sweet and gentle, really funny and loyal, quite adventurous and just a little naughty. I think Jacqui would have loved Bella just as much as she loved Molly - and probably would have recognised some of her own characteristics in Bella! Thank you, Jacqui xxx
