Rest in peace Wendy. It was an absolute privilege for me to have the opportunity to get to know you and work with you on the Learning Disability agenda in Lincolnshire. Your amazing work in relation to ICE and circles of support are just two examples of your personal energy and kind heart. I will miss you very much as I am certain so will many other people in Lincolnshire as well. Justin Hackney - Assistant Director for Specialist Adult Services and Safeguarding. Lincolnshire County Council.

Dear Wendy, remembering you with great sadness, affection and respect for the fabulous work you did to support families and people with learning disabilities in Lincolnshire through County Carers and more for so many years. "She persisted" is one phrase that comes to mind - you made a huge contribution in the life of the county and a difference to a lot of people. Remembering the wonderful Learning Disability Partnership Board conferences 'we' organised, your terrific vision and determination. You will be very missed.
