Yesterday I had the dreaded call, my grandma aged 89 was taken to the heavens.
So beautiful and brave as you laid in your bed.
The time was not rite nor would any, but to only be able to hold your hand and not kiss you goodbye didn’t feel rite.
You brung joy to so many and your smile will go on, your with grandad now we’re you’ve wanted so long.
I’ll never forget all the sweet treats you made jam pastrys, raisin buns, Victoria sponge to name a few.
Your roast were delicious and gravy divine and the sausage plait Was insane, your untold recipe that I never did Get.
You and grandad are angels now up above, but give life to so many who still roam the earth, it was your love and caring and laughter and joy that gave over 400 kids the chance for a life, you raised them and shown them the rite and the wrongs MBE awards for all the good you have done.
Your hair not like others still permed and pristine glowing without greys like in your teen days.
On Friday I told you I love you sleep tight (you whispered back ok) Your whispers that day is what will remain the strength you had shown rite to the end.
I love you grandma sleep tight until we meet again xxx
