Happy Fathers Day granda. I know it's not traditional but you and uncle Michael were Molly and I'm father figures, the best anyone could ever ask for. Always looking after us and being there for us no matter what. I can never thank you properly for all you did for us, but celebrating you today, especially today might be a good start. I hope Uncle Joe is keeping you company granda. LOL always, Mary xxx

I can't believe it's been 2 years since you left us granda, I miss you more and more everyday. Today is a difficult day for us all because today was the day that we said our first goodbye to you. I'm going to grans today and we will reminisce in our memories with you. You truly will never be forgotten granda. I hope that you are peaceful wherever you are. Although today we will celebrate your life, it will be a sad day at the Barton family house because our hero isn't there. Until we meet againπŸ’™

Hi granda, I passed my driving test today!!! I wish you were here to see me drive, what an amazing feeling it was to hear the words! I got a new tattoo to add to my arm for you. I also got offered my dream job, going back to St Mungos to help support kids. They say good things happen in three's, I wonder what's in store for me next? I know you've watched over me and helped me through everything, especially this week! I miss you so much, I hope you're proud of the person I've become. LOL x
