Father Martin Donnelly

Our Catholic priest Father Martin Donnelly used to visit my sister Margo when she was in Ty Mair Care Home in Felinfoel in Llanelli.
He used to have a chat with her and he used to say jokes and make her laugh.
He also gave her Holy Communion and would say a prayer.

Keep your senses, be watchful. Your adversary, the Devil, walks about like a roaring lion, seeking to devour someone.
But take your stand against him, solid in the faith, knowing that the same things in the way of sufferings are being accomplished of your brothers in the world.
But, after you have suffered a little while, the God of all undeserved kindness, who called you to his everlasting glory in ynion with Christ, will himself finish your training, he will make you firm, he will make you strong. To him be the might forever.

DON'T FEAR

' Don' t fear, for l have redeemed you, l have called you by name, you are Mine. God actually commands us not to fear, or worry. The phrase 'fear not' is used at least 80 times in the Bible,, most likely because He knows the enemy uses fear to decrease our hope and limit our victories :

My sister Margo enjoyed calling in this pub years ago when Steve used to have Coffee mornings on in there.
Margo used to have a chat and a laugh with her friends and Steve in there.
