My heart always feels full when I think of our dear Auntie Pauline. I loved Sunday tea at her house too when I was little and her many wonderful desserts. She later showed me her chest freezer still full of her fatless sponge flans and cakes ever ready to feed her many visitors whilst she shared her secret to a great rusk.
I've appreciated her warmth and ever cheerful welcome, her infectious smile and laughter - a great lady that will be very much missed. Louie Beales

Auntie Pauline, such a special lady with a radiant smile that reflected her joyful relationship with her Lord and always a joy to be with. We will remember her giggly, fun-loving nature. David has fond memories of going to Folly Farm on summer holiday and being taken back there from Sunday school in Auntie's old Austin 7 where there would be sandwiches with the crusts cut off, bottled preserved fruits and yummy cakes. He has an abiding memory of her playing the piano and teaching him a chorus: 'There'll be no sorrow there, in my Father's house'. In later years when we visited her at Hopton, there was always a warm welcome with a cup of tea and cake and latterly at Ashmore Nursing Home she was still asking us if we wanted a cup of tea! What better accolade can we give than to aspire to a love for life and service like hers. Missed but impossible to forget! David and Mary Beales

I have lovely memories of visits with my Great Aunt Paulie, I loved tours round the farm, the amazing cakes and always looked forward to the moment the Meccano made its appearance from the cupboard! Can still picture being presented with a little smarties egg she had bought just for my arrival! My memories of such a lovely lady will always be cherished.

What a fantastic lady, loved and missed, although now in a happier place. Remembered for her funny stories and wonderful fatless sponge cake .... every visit.

Memories of our Gran;

Our dear Gran really was one in a million.

Some of our favourite childhood memories are the ones we spent staying with Granma and Grandad in the school holidays. The mischief we all got up to! And when I say we, that definitely includes Gran!

There wasn’t really anything she wasn’t up for! Water fights using old baked bean cans in the garden - soon progressing to full blown buckets! Making Indian teepees under sheets draped across chairs in the living room.... it makes us cringe now to think we had Gran sitting under a table warming her hands on our fire (a table lamp!) and hunting “buffalo” in the hallway!

Gran was also partial to some extreme sports.... she was often Goalie during our football matches, she enjoyed shooting basketball hoops in the park, and could often be found whizzing round Hopton school carpark on one of our scooters!

There was also the time Gran rampaged round our garden on our quad bike.... oh and the time Mum looked out the window in horror to see Gran bouncing away on our trampoline!

Gran was a wonderful cook... once even cooking us Yorkshire puddings for breakfast upon request! And a fine gardener too, with her back garden a match for the Abbey Gardens themselves!

Things that will always make us think of Gran will be; the smell of tomato plants growing in a greenhouse, packets of polos and Yorkshire puds. We will remember Granma always giggling with a mischievous grin on her face... telling us how much she loves driving and asking us to go and make a cup of tea.

Auntie Pauline, a very lovely lady. She always told everyone about Jesus and wanted them to know Him. Her life and love truly reflected Him.
Phil has lots of lovely memories of visits to Folly Farm and then visiting Park Farm, Market Weston. Auntie was so hard working, cooking lovely food, working in her garden, looking after the chickens. He remembers that when she was Sunday School teacher at Walsham-le-Willows it was a thriving Sunday School, everyone loved her.
We both remember her wonderful smile, warm welcome and the way she cared for people. Her teatime cakes were a real treat.
We loved to visit Auntie Pauline, Uncle Geoff and Philip and Christine, so did our children. Not just for the cakes but because they were lovely people.

Auntie Pauline, her enthusiasm and love for Jesus made her a shinning light. She was a hard working lady with a big heart and smile. I loved visiting her, Jeff, Philip and Christine. My daughter said her house smells like roast chicken dinner! That was a dinner to remember, to walk in to be welcomed, then have roast chicken. Amazing lady. Love to Philip and Christine xxxxxx
