I met marie first day of primary school, she hung on her mams arm and really didn't want to go in lol. We went through all our schools together and our parents were great friends. We have chatted a lot recently and helped each other through some tough times!! R.I.P Marie! Such a genuine lovely lady and will be missed massively! I feel privileged to have known her and call her my friend!! A beautiful person inside and out xxxx

I've known Marie for yrs went to same school she is the most kindest person I've ever known, she lit a room with her smile . She often had to be reminded to take time for herself as she always put others first. She will live on in all our hearts and our very fond memories xx sleep tight hun u live on in all that u touched with your heart and kindness xxxx

To the most amazing best friend I will ever have... my heart breaks every day knowing I will never see you again. Your honesty and your amazing sense of humour. I love you so much and miss you more than words can say. My son and I will talk of you with tears and with happiness.
