With Deepest Sympathy to the Charlton Family. It is a very sad day, when a hero and legend of football passes away. His legacy will live on, generation after generation in the annals of the football world. Who would have thought a Miner's son would achieve world recognition, the status and accolade throughout his football career. Especially his part in the World Cup 1966, which is imprinted on everyones mind of England's former glory days. You did not get knighted, something you should have had, maybe you will get it posthumously, as many fans and others of the football world, feel you deserve. Rest in Peace 'Sir Jack Charlton.

Met this wonderful man and his wife whilst on holiday in St Lucia (Monarch air crew). Both were down to earth people . We have lovely memories of the laughter and the Piton Snows at Happy Hour which was followed by a competition to climb a coconut tree! RIP Jack you were a one off. Pat our thoughts are with you Debbie and Peter.
Love Robbie and Tina.
