Been a Lindisfarne fan for 50 years and Charlie was an absolute legend. Will miss him carrying his Oxygen Tank onto the stage with him.

Saw him play many times over the years, but sadly only spoke with him face to face a few times at gigs, however he always took time to have a conversation and not look like I was imposing, he listened and talked. What a lovely fella who lived in the heart of the North East music scene and no doubt will live on there.
