My Beautiful Mam

Mam was a flower that came out to bloom.
She was full of laughter never gloom.
I'd watch her as she did her 'eyes'.
I loved her. I was mesmerised.
To me she was beautiful in every way.
Her smile could brighten the darkest day.
She helped me through some very hard times.
I put her through some very rough times.
But no matter how many people would stare.
I'd guarantee my mam would be there.
I need to thank mam for when my son Sean was born.
I was still a child. My life was torn.
She taught me how to love another.
She taught me how to be a mother.
Without her I'd have fallen flat on my face.
But to her I'd never have been a disgrace.
Now shes near yet so far.
I hope she'll be my guiding star.
I'll miss my mam in so many ways.
Until we meet again I'll be counting the days ❤
