Mark, we never really spent much time together but I felt a close connection with you through keeping in touch on Facebook. My over-riding memory is visiting your Mum and Dad in Leeds in 1983 with Pat and Alison, who was just three. She went upstairs to play with you and Angie and came back with curlers in her hair...! Boy we laughed. It's so unfair that didn't get more time in this life. Rest in peace lad. Love from Dave, Pat and family x

Mark, I can still hardly believe your passing. Peggy and Grandad Jim would be so sad. They adored you and Angie. I held you in my arms when you were just a babe. We waved at passengers on buses as they passed and they waved back. I never dreamt that you would slip over so young! You should have had so much more time. Maybe at times life wasn't particularly easy for you but you lived it with energy and style. Your constant enthusiasm, chatter and oh...those jokes. I think you inherited these characteristics from your Dad Jim. 'Hey what about that fiver you owe me?' This was one of only a few lines thrown into our conversations that stopped you in full flow. For only a few seconds though. RIP Marky Boy it was a pleasure knowing you. As I said everytime we parted 'keep in touch.' Our love, sympathy and thoughts to Louise, Campbell and Sophia. Sister Angie and Mum Evelyn. From Uncle William, Aunt Agnes, Carolynne, Robbie and Ruby.

So so saddened and shocked. Mark was one of life's good guys. We had a good catch-up last time I saw him a month ago and he was as lovely as ever.
You will be sadly missed Mark and we send all our love to his family. We are thinking of you all.
