Such terribly sad news. Mark was a true professional, always enthusiastic and positive in his role. His sense of humour was never far away. He was an absolute pleasure to work with. My condolences to Mark's family.

I knew Mark for over twenty years and liked him from the start. Friendly, professional, with a great sense of humour, everything he did had energy and enthusiasm. It was a sad day when he left Marshall's, but he quickly settled to a fresh challenge at Brett's where he seemed to be equally as popular and enthusiastic. He will be missed as a colleague and as a friend. My sympathies with his family, who he always put first. One of life's best people and I will miss him.

We are so sad that Mark has been lost so early and will miss him massively. Mark was a truly great person and it was a pleasure to have known Mark since we were young children. You couldn’t ask for a better friend. He was kind, funny, generous and always positive. It meant nothing to Mark to drive for hours if it meant he could catch up with friends. So many happy memories our time together. Mark adored Louise, Campbell and Sophia and our thoughts are with them. Alistair

Mark was a colleague of mine for only a few years and certainly not long enough..He was always very positive in his outlook and great fun to be around.

Such sad news, I was privileged to have worked with Mark at Marshall’s. Thoughts and prayers are with all the family.
