Growing up in a violent and dysfunctional home in the 60's, Diana Rigg's characters entered my life via the television set. Showing independence, class, intellect, and ability, her characters demonstrated that women need not be relegated to accepting their lot. She helped me get through some very hard times. RIP Dame Diana Rigg. You were phenomenal.

Dear Diana, you touched my life as a child and continued to be a glorious presence throughout. I was lucky enough to meet you once, with my 5 year old daughter Fiona, after My Fair Lady. I was star struck and couldn’t say much, but you were gracious and kind, sharing a story of your daughter and Miss Piggy. It was a sweet moment that I will never forget.

Quite frankly, the greatest actress the U.K has ever produced. A perfect Avenger. The Greatest ever Bond girl. Miss Piggy’s greatest adversary!
Rest in peace you wonderful lady. You will never be forgotten ❤️

Diana Rigg changed my life forever when I was 10 years old watching 'The Avengers'. But, I first met Diana Rigg in 1970 at Leeds Grand Theatre. I remember standing there in my school uniform with my Nannan waiting and all these women came through and I thought 'Maybe she is not as beautiful as I thought and she is just ordinary and it's all an illusion' and after Keith Michell charged out grabbing my programme and signing it (I didn't even want his autograph!) this vision with long auburn hair wearing a green trouser suit with fur coat draped over her shoulders and smoking a cigarillo appeared. It was as if she was floating and she definitely had an visible aura around her. She asked me - ME!!!!! 'Has Keith gone?' God knows what I answered! Then she signed my programme and left.....unfortunately no camera in those days......but what a night that was! Going to Leeds was like going to London for us. On a blooming train! Still have that programme right here framed on my wall. Thank you Dame Diana for everything....
