So sorry to read about Roy. He was my sons football trainer, I think for Park Tigers years ago now and if my son had stuck to the sport we would have credited it all to Roy. What a very nice man. Our sincere condolences.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Roy's passing. First met Roy in the late 60s when he was a Red Cross Instructor at Brumby Wood Lane. Roy taught me and others how to do things properly. As well as first aid he taught us to play table tennis and how to become winners. I have always held Roy in high esteem. A true gentleman and a wonderful human being. My life has been enriched by knowing Roy. Thank you Roy and God Bless. Peter Dawson
