As tears roll down our face,
We know you're in a better place.
We close our eyes to see your face,
suddenly we feel a warm embrace.
With a smile so wide,
it brings tears to our eyes.
We try so hard not to cry;
all of our pain we cannot hide.
You always knew just what to say
to anyone having a bad day.
I don't know if we will ever understand,
but it must be part of God's plan.
We know your with Steve your son, hugging and laughing and cracking a joke.
