Nigel, you were a very much loved part of our family and we have been fortunate to have known you.
Your company was always enjoyable, your wide range of interests meant you were well informed on many subjects and always ready to listen to others. Always with positive things to say or add. Time with you was well spent and you will be sadly missed.

Amongst many other things, I am so thankful for the time Nigel spent working in Cardiff. Having only recently moved there myself, he was the perfect resource and if you asked him a question about literally anything, if he didn’t know the answer, he would certainly research it and find out! I think if it’s only known, he planned that his time in Cardiff coincided with the rugby World Cup 😉 and we enjoyed quite a few fun evenings watching the rugby and enjoying the atmosphere in town. His smile was contagious on those days.
My other favourite place to spend time with Nigel was in London. He was the best tour guide you could ever wish for. I don’t know how he managed to remember all that important, useful and sometimes very obscure information! 😊

Nigel and I shared an interest in family history and my favorite memory is of the weekend he came down and we met with cousins to chat over photos and certificates etc and relate family stories. Nigel was a kind and true gentleman and a pleasure to know. Paul Waters
