Well Grandad, at least a pandemic with it's lockdowns can no longer keep us apart. Or anything else for that matter.
We are back homeschooling. I remember during many conversations we have had where there has been a question and if I answered it right I would say Mold Alun and if you got it right you'd say Ewloe Green. These being the schools we attended. Though you were more of an outdoors, hands on man who wanted to see results. By gum did you get results. You were a very successful man and with my Nain Rose at your side too. You made a great team. Brains, determination along with being kindness and honesty brought you out on top. So many out there that would have given anything to have had your success. To be in your shoes. Some simply lack honesty and kindness. You would do so much for others, never asking for anything in return. You would give people hope, drive and inspiration. The chances offered and were taken but neither of you would hesitate when it came to wrong doing. You were fair. Times when chances were mistreated or words and actions of others brought any a shadow of darkness in your lives. You would never rise to it. Even in those times you would have your manners and move on with your heads held high.
I am so very proud of you both.
During this homeschooling business, I will be remembering our times. Your memory will be kept alive. I love sharing my memories with Alex, family and friends. This I do with only smiles and a warm heart.

You can be with us this Christmas in spirit.
Thank you for answering my prayers lately.
You probably have witnessed a fair few things which I'm sure you and Nain have been chuckling away at.
I hear your sayings, advice and guidance within all I do.
Thank you for teaching me well and being the best role model.
