Today I start the March 100km dog walking challenge. Fundraising for dementia in memory of my Grandad.

On my walks I find myself talking to you and Nain. Others too that have passed, I share my thoughts, questions and prayers.

Please accompany me on my dog walks. I shall keep an eye out for signs. Those little white feathers have always been a favourite.

So much of your time towards your end of life grandad was full of wrong doing by so many. Determined, I will see through all that I started and I won't let you down.

The walks we shared over the years, the advice and guidance you gave, along with Nains, all prepared me for now.

Walking in your footsteps, I know I'm on the right path.

Another challenge awaits me. I shall enjoy this one with my dogs. It will make a nice change.

Remembering you, as I do everyday but thinking of the cards you sent me every single year until you suffered dementia. Made sure I felt special and reminded me I was loved. You posted a card to me every valentines. Signing it guess who or with a simple ?
I miss your ways. I miss you Grandad.
I hope you and Nain are together in some dimension or world.
