Such sad news , Claude had to be one of the most genuine person I’ve ever met . He gave so much to his club and county and will be missed terribly . I have many fond memories of away days with the county will always remember Claude , Rubber duck and Maun leading the singing . Great times condolences To Shirley , Chris and all the family

Claude will always be remembered as one of lifes true gentleman, it was a pleasure to grow up as part of the same crowd. Will be sadly missed.

Such shocking news to hear of Claude's passing. Thoughts are with Shirley and all of Claude's family. It goes without saying he was one of the characters we'll always remember since growing up at the stoke coventry club right up until recent times when we'd visit the club on a Sunday afternoon and you could guarantee Claude and co would be belting out all the old classics from the jukebox, showing us youngers how to get an atmosphere going. He will be sadly missed. Rest peacefully Claude.

The weekends away with the kids also our lovely weekends as couples in the lakes so many good times.. You were always a good friend to me and the family when we were going through our tough times.
