No words can express our sorrow at losing our friend Claude. He has been part of our life for nearly 50 years now. He was part of the rock our club was built on. Archie and Claude will be having a good catch up now. love and miss you forever.

So sad to hear of the passing of Claude my thoughts are with Shirley and the wider Reid family at this difficult time. It has been a great privilege of having Claude as a work colleague and friend for over 50 year’s.
I, along with his BT mates will miss him greatly. It is obvious from the tributes from so many people on this site that we will not be alone in that. We all live on in memories and I am not short of those about Claude, ranging from long weekends walking the Welsh hills, many barge trips, and all the varied activities we have taken part in, cycling round Rutland water, visits to various places, archery, pitch and putt, walks, ten pin and crown green bowls not forgetting the many pub and restaurant meals.
He may be gone from us but he will never be forgotten.
