Very sad to hear this news. We met Claude in 1952 when we all moved into the new houses in Purcell Road- we lived four doors away. Great memories of football in fields and at HR, Sat morning Gaumont pictures, getting wet in the River Sowe, and all the usual teenage fun. Way back then, Claude was a gent - kind, clever, generous, dependable - a real pleasure to know. We send our thoughts and condolences to all the Reid family at this difficult time.

A genuine gentleman that our family had the pleasure of knowing for many years.
Always smiling and first to say hello.
Will be very sadly missed.
Love Ken, Eve, Chris and Mark x
