I knew Roy and Jean for several years through ITC, a public speaking club in Coventry. They were both such a charming and fun couple. Roy has a dry wit and a wry smile when he was speaking and was always a pleasure to be with. So sorry to learn of his loss. My best wishes to his family.

Roy sponsored my brothers football team (Fletch FC) and I have many happy memories of the support he gave the kids . (I also bought my first suit from him). He will be missed

Lloyd & Janet Owen. My dad Haydon Owen always shopped at Roy Palins. He always got comments on how smart he looked and he would always tell people where he shopped. R.I.P.

Such sad news. My partner always went to Roy for all his clothes. Always smiling and helpful. A wonderful gentleman. RIP Roy.
