Grandma Edna welcomed us into her family and we have been blessed to have had her as a grandma! With the brightest, bubbliest, friendliest personality she will be sorely missed. She was one of the most generous women and always treated me so well!
I will always think of your kindness grandma
Rest in Peace ❤️

Grandma, I will miss you more than I can ever put into words. I will always hold dear all the amazing memories I have of you and the abounding knowledge you shared with me over the years. I use the advice and wisdom you shared with me every single day and will continue to for the rest of my life. You were so incredibly kind, thoughtful and loving and always made everyone feel welcome and accepted into your world. You always encouraged positivity in me, you taught me to play chess and draughts and to do crosswords, all things I still love to do, that bring me happy memories when I need them most. No matter how annoying I must have been, you spent your every minute entertaining, teaching and loving me and I always looked forwards to coming to see you and stay with you. You spent many a weekend doing puzzles with me or making cupcakes, you encouraged me to paint and draw, and you always encouraged me to be myself and to explore the world around me with eyes of amazement and joy. You took me to museums, theatres, cinemas, art galleries and more. Every memory I have with you is precious and full of beauty, love and pure happiness. You were not just a grandma to me, you are an inspiration and a role model. You lived your life full of faith, love and acceptance and if I can be a fraction of the woman you were, then I will be content. I will forever miss our chats over the phone, Boxing Day dinner and just having you there knowing you love and care for me. I know you are with grandad now and that you are both watching down over all of us, wishing us all happiness and positivity. I miss you so much already, you will forever be in my heart and my mind. Filling me with that warm nudge of encouragement, confidence an positivity that you always have. I love you very much and hope that although you are no longer with us, I can still make you proud. You were not just an amazing grandma, you were an amazing woman and you will be missed dearly by so many people. I love you grandma.

To me Grandma Edna was always so lovely, kind and generous. I will miss the long chats when we would stay with her and consider myself lucky to have gained her as my grandma at a young age.
I wish like many others to have been able to attend her send off but with current circumstances I know it is not possible. But I will be raising a toast 🥂
