So saddened to hear this news Jackie, Tracey and Family. Ann started with Terry in the shops in 1974 before moving into the warehouse in 1976. Terry called her ‘Annie’, so everyone who ever worked for Terry dutiful followed suit. I first met him in 1977. Applying for a job seen in the Sentinel I decided to hand deliver my CV to Federation Road. He was just going into the front door and I said Terry Blood? He said yes and I handed him my envelope. I can still see his face today as it was obvious from his look that he thought it was a Court Summons. The next three years were very intense but he always treated Ann and me like family. Indeed he said he thought of all the staff at Federation Road as family. Early on he told me he was on a mission and if anyone fell behind he did not have time to slow down for them. Sadly that’s what happened to me in 1979 when my father died but in 1983 he came calling again and scooped Ann and me back up. We were there for the next 25 years. So sad not to be able to meet him again but you will be feeling that emotion much more than we ever could. Deepest condolences. Ann and Trevor Bootherstone.
