I first met Terry in the late 50's with one of his early groups, Terry Blood and The Vampires. He then went on to manage The Beat Messengers who did many dates at the recently opened Crystal Ball Room, Newcastle-Under-Lyme. After that, he went on to form the Terry Blood agency which as a musician, I was very grateful for the many bookings particularly at universities! He went on to form a partnership with Mike Lloyd and gradually built a chain of record shops in Staffordshire under the name of Blood Lloyd of which I was pleased to be employed by him at the Hanley store! Terry set me up as a manager in a new store in Stoke.
Terry later moved into wholesale, he helped me no end and was a pleasure to work for. I'm forever grateful for his assistance.
