In my lifetime it has been an honor and a privilege to have been witness to this mans exceptional tenacity and endurance. In life you are lucky if you ever truly see or hear of someone that is beyond all expectations and Captain Sir Tom was one of those selfless human beings that touched my very soul , I am and always will be in awe of this phenomenal man that I will remember all my days .

In a long life, he ascended to the pinnacle of achievement in his 100th year, and departed in glory at the height of life. What an inspiration !
