Got created an Angel when he created you Sir Tom and today he got his angel back. You were one in a million Sir Tom and you will be sadly missed by me and my family. You and your family will be in my prayers tonight. God bless you Sir Tom.

Can't tell you how sad to hear of capt Tom's passing, my heart goes out to his family and friends, he was an amazing man and a roll model to so many including me, he will live on for many, many years in all our hearts, sleep well Tom, we miss you

I never met him never knew him but he had touched our hearts in such a way that he is part of our family. He actually brought everyone from everywhere into one thought.. that... we all can do it United and together. Tributes and admiration to you ,your life and what an inspiration. RIP.

He proved that older people can achieve and are far from worthless. Every age has a value. I'm glad that he'd had such a great year. God bless

He was a kind and loving soul. All he wanted was to make a kind gesture to our NHS workers by raising some extra funds. Who would have thought his kind gesture would become history in the making. And through it all he remained grounded and humble. He did things he could only have dreamt of in his last year of life. And what a life. I know I won't forget what his did, not just last summer but also during the war. I salute you Mr Moore x x x rest peacefully now sir xxx
