What a truly remarkable gentleman. He brought the country and notice to the world with his efforts. He gave to the country during the war and in his dotage, gave yet again by his untiring determination. RIP to a man amongst men.

Sir Tom was an inspiration, a man who had survived wars & hardships he was full of hope & joy. Like everyone, I was touched by his old fashioned manners & ability to embrace all that life threw at him. He will be forever remembered for his contribution to life in Covid times. RIP Sir Tom
